"Vedh!" Ashu Davies ran towards Vedh Balon, who was standing on the terrace, leaning on the railing and staring at the brand new car. Vedh turned around, his face lighting up with a warm smile.
"I want to tell you something," Ashu said, walking closer to him, her smile radiant.
Vedh raised an eyebrow, anticipating that she might be about to propose to him. He felt a wave of embarrassment, unsure of how to respond if she asked him first.
"I also want to tell you something," Vedh replied, his curiosity piqued.
"But you have to listen to me first," Ashu insisted.
