Laksh smiled softly and sat near her head, causing her to gulp in anticipation of what he might do next. Slowly, he raised his hand and gently placed it on her forehead. "How someone could hurt this delicate beauty?" he murmured in a deep, soothing voice. Ashu felt her fear dissipate as the warmth of his palm touched her skin. She continued to stare at him, while he reciprocated with a beautiful smile on his lips. Knock Knock Ashu Davies quickly averted her gaze and looked towards the door, where the doctor and Jo Gu were waiting for Laksh Wilson's approval. Laksh continued to stare at her, his hand resting gently on her forehead, oblivious to their presence. After a moment, he sighed and stood up, finally acknowledging Jo Gu. Finding the approval in Laksh's eyes, Jo Gu motioned for the doctor to follow him. They approached the bed, greeted Laksh, and the doctor began treating Ashu's ankle. "Ouch," Ashu winced, feeling the doctor's touch a bit rough. "Why don't you treat it more gently?" Laksh panicked, his tone unhappy. Jo Gu struggled to suppress his laughter, amused by Laksh's unexpected display of concern. It was unusual to see him so worked up over someone else's minor injury. "I apologize," the doctor said without saying much, opting for a gentler approach. Ashu turned her eyes to Laksh, noticing his flushed face and panicked expression as he continued to focus on her ankle being treated. His gaze shifted momentarily when the doctor applied pressure to the twisted area, revealing that Ashu was already lost in her thoughts, hardly feeling any pain. Laksh leaned closer, his deep eyes meeting hers. He was intrigued by her peculiar reaction. "Does it hurt?" he asked. "Hmm," Ashu responded absentmindedly, her answer a mix of confusion. Laksh sighed and glanced at Jo Gu, who chuckled discreetly behind him. "What? Why are you smiling?" Laksh asked, catching Jo Gu off guard. "Who, me?" Jo Gu replied, feigning innocence. "No, I wasn't smiling. Definitely not." "But I saw you chuckling.” "For what?" Jo Gu pretended to be clueless. "That's exactly what I'm asking you." "Well, uh... No. I mean, no way. I didn't," Jo Gu stuttered, avoiding eye contact as he hurriedly ushered the doctor out of the room. Laksh shifted his attention back to Ashu, who had been observing the exchange. "Don't worry. Take some rest," he advised. "Here?" she asked, surprised by the suggestion. "Where else? On my desk? In my cabin?" he teased, winking playfully. Ashu glared at him, her anger evident. He was indeed mischievous. "Will you please be quiet and leave?" she uttered, unhappy with his presence. "Why should I leave my own property?" he raised an eyebrow, his hands tucked into his pockets. Ashu looked at him in shock. Before she could say anything more, he leaned in closer, his intense gaze meeting hers. His warm breath caressed her small face. "Don't you think you should thank me?" he murmured in a low voice. "Why should I?" she asked, lowering her gaze and speaking softly. He was incredibly handsome, and it made her nervous. "You know what I'm referring to," he replied, his voice still low and captivating. Nervously swallowing, Ashu looked at him fearfully. "You were in my arms, and now you’re in my private room. Do you think you can simply leave without giving me something in return?" "What... What do you want?" she hesitated, her mind in a daze. He gazed at her slightly parted lips and chuckled. Ashu's eyes widened, and she instinctively covered her mouth. "Your lunchbox every day," he revealed, smiling mischievously. Ashu was taken aback by his request. He laughed and straightened up, chuckling to himself. He had been teasing her all along. How shameless he could be! "A lunchbox?" she sighed, lowering her hand from her mouth. "Yes, don't worry. I won't let you go hungry. You'll eat my food. Deal?" he proposed. She didn't really want to make a deal, but his playful behavior made her agree. She didn't want to argue with him anymore; he was intimidating. "Okay," she replied, lowering her eyes and speaking unhappily. He chuckled and nodded slowly, glancing at his wrist. His silver-black watch sparkled proudly against his fair skin. "I have to go now. Take some rest, and press five if you need anything. This room is connected to my cabin," he informed her with a bright smile. Grabbing his coat, he turned to leave. "Wait..." Ashu called out, making him turn back and look at her. "It might get boring here. Could you please send my laptop and Mr. Jo here so I can continue my training?" she requested. Raising an eyebrow, he regarded her with interest. She was the first person to command him so boldly. "Okay," he agreed, nodding before quickly leaving the room. Ashu pondered for a moment, contemplating calling him back to ask who he really was. After returning to his cabin, Laksh Wilson hung his coat on the stand and walked over to the table, where Jo Gu was ready to brief him on his appointments. "What's wrong? Are you feeling alright?" Jo Gu asked. Laksh Wilson nodded, a beautiful smile gracing his lips as he took a seat in his elegant black chair. He was still lost in his thoughts about Ashu after leaving the room. "I'll have someone bring you a fresh shirt," Jo Gu suggested, noticing the creases on Laksh's white shirt. "I'm not going to wash this shirt," Laksh replied with a playful wink, leaving Jo Gu momentarily speechless. "You're invited by her. She wants to learn, not rest. Bring her laptop and anything else she needs, and make sure she takes some rest," Laksh instructed, his mood filled with happiness. Jo Gu was glad to see Laksh in such high spirits. "Alright. And what about your appointments?" Jo Gu inquired. "Come on, who wants to work when you're floating in feelings?" Laksh teased, a smile playing on his lips. Jo Gu smiled and shook his head helplessly. "I'll hire someone to take care of your appointments and handle the meetings..." "Please, just leave. You know I only have eyes for you, not those beautiful ladies," Laksh interrupted. "Even if you like me, you'll have to marry a woman," Jo Gu pointed out, placing his tablet on the table. Laksh Wilson sighed and glanced at the tablet, where a list of appointments awaited his attention. "Marriage," he muttered, a touch of sarcasm in his voice, leaving Jo Gu puzzled by his expressions. "Take a look at the appointments. I'll go and see her," Jo Gu suggested, sensing that Laksh needed some time alone. Laksh Wilson didn't respond, lost in his thoughts once again. Jo Gu left the cabin to retrieve Ashu's laptop, leaving Laksh to contemplate his feelings. Laksh Wilson furrowed his brow and closed the laptop. Jo Gu returned with files and a laptop, ready to take them to Ashu Davies' room. He noticed Laksh standing by the glass wall, gazing out, his back turned. Sometimes, Jo Gu felt that his chairman was experiencing moments of loneliness, but he couldn't bring himself to ask about it. Laksh Wilson was known for his joyful demeanor and his refusal to succumb to sadness and stress. However, there were occasions when Jo Gu had caught glimpses of sadness and loneliness in him, yet he couldn't inquire about the reasons behind those feelings. He left for Ashu's room, leaving Laksh to his thoughts. Laksh Wilson turned around and glanced at his computer monitor. Unable to resist, he sat down and switched on the camera in his private room to watch Ashu. Her focus matched the intensity in her eyes, and her determined face impressed him. In his eyes, she was perfect, even if she had been late for the interview. She was perfect, despite wearing an old dress and lacking makeup. She was unbothered by her appearance, displaying courage and intelligence. She was perfect, even when she didn't scold him for accidentally colliding with her and not helping her collect her scattered documents. She was perfect in his eyes when she simply gazed at his face while in his arms, without feeling ashamed in front of the staff. She was perfect because she bravely and independently lived her challenging life. A slight smile appeared on Laksh Wilson's face as he observed Jo Gu's confusion over Ashu's questions. She excelled in everything, yet she possessed an innocence and childlike nature. He desired to assist her in every aspect, but he knew she was self-made and would never accept help. That's why he allowed her to earn her money and happiness through hard work. He recognized that she was in the best position possible, and he saw the future of the company secure in her capable hands. Laksh Wilson didn't bother with his appointments nor did he have any desire to be elsewhere. He leisurely leaned back in his elegant black chair, content to keep watching her. It was a delightful experience, and he couldn't pass up the opportunity to observe her for as long as possible. He felt genuine happiness in his heart, and all he wanted was to breathe deeply while endlessly gazing at her.
