ABIGAIL'S POV “Here, I think grandma would want you to wear this tonight." My mama placed my grandma's turquoise necklace around my neck. I reached up to touch the turquoise pendant that was shaped like a bear. I peered into the mirror and looked over my soft white dress. I was a sucker for lace details on a dress. My mama had insisted that I gently curl my hair into waves, even though I hadn't really cared about looking nice. “Mama, why do we need to fuss so much?
