Giada stood in the mirror of the makeshift medical center they used for their injuries and made a face at the black and blue marks coating her back. Despite him pulling the punches he’d landed on her ribcage she still sported a decent sized bruise and there was clearly a cracked rib based on the way it hurt to inhale. She even noted bruising wrapping around her midsection. He’d gotten her good. The bruises were disappearing up under her sports bra. They’d shaken hands again after exiting the ring and though he’d offered to drive her to get patched up she thanked him for the offer and made her way out of the gym.
