I’ve eliminated the younger women because I can’t see any reason for any of them to go after James. Izzy, possibly, since she was burr under everyone’s saddles, other than Ed’s of course, but not James.”

Trent shrugged. “It works. She was brassy and what my mother would have called brazen, but that’s not really a reason to kill her. Ignore her when possible, sure.
