I took tentative steps closer to the edge. I sat a bit behind him, not trusting the crumbled stone as he seemed to. He was shirtless, and I couldn’t help staring. Most of his back and arms were covered in black ink, and I was close enough now to make out the designs. The arm closest to me was covered in different flowers.
