12:00 AM - May 06, 2045 (Maganda’s POV) It is her 18th birthday. But just like her any birthdays, she doesn’t celebrate it on midnight. She’s just sleeping, then celebrate it in the afternoon til dinner with her family and friends. As she’s on her deep slumber, she suddenly have a dreams. A very weird one. — She’s at the top of the Mountain with a deity, and many other Mythical creatures like Dwende (sprites), Nunu sa punso, Kapre (Giants) Tikbalang (shifters — Half-human on the upper body, horse from waist down), Diwata (fairies), and etc. When suddenly the deity went to hug engulf her with a big hug. She also introduced herself. Maria Makiling: “Hello Maganda! I am Maria Makiling, the deity and protector of this mountain. Yes, my dear child, we are really existing. You’re probably wondering why you ate here now. You see, it is now the right time for you to fulfill your destiny. You are The Chosen. And you need to be ready. She touches Maganda’s necklace, then they disappear. Maganda woke up because of a strong wind that hit her skin, when she opens her eyes, she was taken back by her surroundings. She’s at the top of the mountain! Unknown to her, Malakas, also experienced the same thing.
