I stared at my mother and stopped a few feet away from her.
Her eyes bore into me.
"What are you playing at?" she said. "Last night and now this morning. Do you want everyone to know our damn business?"
I stared at her in disbelief.
Nyx was close and growled.
"Let me out," she growled.

I stared at my mum, and without saying anything, I moved toward my bedroom and headed inside.
With what I wanted to tell my mother, I didn't want the whole pack to listen in on what I was about to say.
