I felt sad realizing I was leaving Annie, yet she ended up being eager to get together with Brenda as she changed, causing me to loosen up a bit. I followed Annie down to the kitchens, where Katherine conversed with certain workers and gave directions. Katherine turned upward when we entered and grimaced when she saw Annie.
"Annie, dear, this is a bad place for our future Queen," Katherine said. The manner in which Annie recoiled at the title wasn't ignored by me. "The King said-" I snarled at how she tended to my title.
