Annie's POV As the days passed on, his scent smelt less. Every day that passed, my mind honed, my brain became more clear, and gradually I found the remainder of what was left of me. After such isolation, I had gradually returned and found what my identity was, and not managed by senses I was new to. Distress was the only word I could use to depict it. One thing ended up being evident: I was unable to shift.
