Chapter 6

I slowly climbed out of the car while Jeffrey did it in one fluid movement. My mind lingering upon the kisses we have shared before we even got here. My mouth tingled and wanted to taste more of him. I don't even understand the reason why I feel like I'm gravitating closer and closer to him every time. It's like it was fate that was pulling us together. I hate to admit it but I liked it. I liked the way it felt. I have been ignoring all the signs for the time that I've been working with him. But now, it just feels too strong to ignore. Jeffrey walks towards me and grabs my hand. "Let's go." he says warmly. I slowly walked behind him while our hands were intertwined with each other. "But, our bags..." I suddenly remembered. "Gavin will take care of it. Don't worry." he smiled as we continued our way to the jet. I gaped at the magnificence of the jet. It was matte black, and the interior heavily smelled of leather. I squirmed at the thought of we'll be doing on those leather seats. The seats were red with an accent of dark brown, and the walls of the jet were steel gray. "Manly." I quietly whispered to myself. "Too much?" he asks smirking at me. I blushed a deep shade of red thinjing he didn't hear me. Does this man even have super sonic hearing for him to hear something as low as what I said. Jeffrey made me sit and he sat the opposite direction of me. Gavin approached us with what I think is champagne and... steak??? "Thank you." I said as I grabbed the food. I sighed to myself. How high end could this man get. If we were in a relationship, how much trouble would it be for him to be dating a simple commoner like me? I bet a lot of people would hate on me, or even threaten to kill me for even being this close to Jeffrey. I could already see it. I looked down at my steak and quietly sliced it into bite sized pieces. As soon as everything was cut up, I pop one in my mouth. I quietly moaned at the goodness. "Kenneth. Do not provoke me." Jeffrey says with a serious look on his face. I chewed and swallowed. "I'm not trying to do anything..." I whimpered. Is he going to fight me? Did I do something wrong? He stood up and placed his face close to mine. "Sir..." I stammered out. He takes a sip of my champagne and pressed his lips against mine. I felt cold liquid being transferred from his mouth to mine. My eyes widened as I met his gaze. He pulled away and gently wipes my lip with his thumb. "Swallow everything, baby." he seductively whispers. I obediently followed his orders not being able to take my eyes off of his. "Sir, what are you doing?" I stuttered. "Right now? Nothing. But later I could be ravishing you on one of this leather seats." he gently grabs my neck and applies a little pressure "Trust me, baby. No matter how hard you scream nobody will disturb us here." he smirked. I was scared and turned on at the same time. How is that even possible? Oh, the things Jeffrey makes me feel. He slowly pulls away and returns back to his seat. "If I were you, I'd be careful. I can and I will. Don't test my limits." he says with a playful growl. I felt my pants tighten at the sound of his growl. As if his intimidation didn't turn me on enough already. Part of me didn't want to test the waters, but a part of me just wants to dive right in. God, help me and my better judgement. Clearly, this man is clouding up my mind. I looked down at my food and slowly started eating again. Once I finished, I gulped the champagne down and out everything aside. "Are we still going to be for a long ride?" I asked Jeffrey. "It will be a long ride, pumpkin." he smirks. "Would it be okay if I slept first?" I asked feigning innocence. "Sure, but don't think you're getting away with what I have planned for you on this ride, princess." He smirked. I pout and got myself comfortable. I closed my eyes just to pretend I was sleeping, but I eventually fell asleep. I woke up feeling warm, and it was already dark outside. I rubbed the sleep off of my eyes and stretched. As I stretched I let out a quiet moan and stopped midway when I remembered what Jeffrey has just told me. I looked at him, and he was sleeping quite peacefully opposite side of me. His arms were crossed, and his eyebrows were furrowed deeply forming creases on his forehead. I slowly and quietly approached him. "Even in your sleep you're angry." I pout. I slowly poke the middle of his eyebrows causing him to jolt awake and stare at me. I quickly stuttered out an apology. He was just staring at my face in the darkness. "Sir...?" I asked. He pulled me to his lap and wrapped his arms around me. He nuzzled at the top of my head, and I felt his weight get heavier. He must've fallen asleep again. I carefully snake my arms around his body, and hugged him gently so he doesn't wake up again. This position was comfortable, and warm. I feel safe in his arms. My eyelids slowly grew heavier and heavier by the second, until before I knew I was asleep again. Jeffrey's POV I woke up to sobbing and screaming. I looked down at the mess of a man I was hugging to my chest. His tears soaking up my suit. My heart was pounding out of my chest. I thought something bad had happened while we were on the plane. I slowly sit up, and gently wake him. "Kenneth... Kenneth sweetheart. Kenneth. I'm here. Hush now. It's just a dream." I cooed as I gently shook him awake. He wakes up with a tear stained face. "Hey... You had a nightmare..." I quietly said as I wiped his tears with my thumb. When he finally calmed down, I kissed his forehead and hugged him close to my chest. "You're safe now. I'll protect you, okay?" I said as I stroked the snivelling boys hair.
