Something was definitely fishy about this whole thing. Everything seemed so sudden and so out of place, and yet at the same time it felt as though it was perfectly planned with whatever happened during the rogue attack. How could I simply dismiss this to be nothing? I clenched my teeth together as I stopped myself from letting out a deep, and guttural growl. Once the council said we could raise our heads, I made eye contact with Kenneth and I could easily tell that he was thinking the same thing.
How I wished that I would be able to mindlink at a time like this, but the court had enchantments put up around its walls to prevent any sort of werewolf power to seep through the people who were within its walls.
