I opened my eyes to find Kenneth still fast asleep against my chest. I inhaled his scent and rest my head on his. I pulled him closer to my body being careful that I don't wake him. "Alpha." Gavin mindlinks me. "What?" I replied. "We have a rogue problem." he simply states. I sighed heavily. I didn't want to leave the comfort of the bed with my mate. I stood up carefully and left a note that said I had to deal with problems in the pack and will be back as soon as I can. I quickly got dressed, planted a gentle kiss on his forehead, and left the room. I head on over to where Gavin was. "Status report." I ask. "Three of our men were killed and seven are injured.
