I bit my lip anxiously before staring up at the ceiling. I was now lying on the examination table as the doctor brought out an ultrasound machine.
He had just done the pelvic exam and I felt so freaking awkward during the whole thing but there was a nice nurse named Maisy who held my hand the whole time.
My dad and Jamie were waiting outside and the doctor said this would be the last thing and then we could leave.
"I'm just going to put this gel on your pelvic area okay?" Dr. Stevens explained, making me nod as the nurse Maisy fiddled with the machine a little.
Dr. Stevens was an older man in his fifties and had mocha-colored skin with grey hair. He had kind brown eyes..not as beautiful as Jamie's but still very warm and comforting.
"Okay, let's have a look." He began
