I sat with my elbows digging into my knees, my head hanging down as I bounced my leg up and down anxiously. Four f*****g hours..that's how long she has been apart from me and I was losing it.
More than once I stood up and marched to those doors only to let out a frustrated groan and turn back around.
I was ready to beg on my damn knees..I wanted to plead for forgiveness and just feel her beneath my fingertips..
I wanted to look in her eyes and show her I mean it..that I will never lie to her again. I learned my lesson this time..I will never make that mistake again.
Suddenly a loud beeping began going off, making my head snap up as I saw a few nurses running into the room.
