Everybody was preparing for the big New Years Eve party, but I didn’t feel like partying. Rage was still in critical conditions. Twice in the last three days his system had shut down and he also developed a fever despite his medications. Luckily the Hexomal was effective and he stayed unconscious. I was relieved to know, that he didn’t feel any pain. I sat with him as much as I could without raising suspicions about my feelings for him.
