365 nights of Love!

He touched me!

“You two take care and keep calling!” Mom and Dad said.

“Mom, Dad! Don’t worry, I will call you every day! I love you both!” I hugged and kissed my Mom and Dad before moving inside the airport!

Yes, finally after doing a brief packing, I and Elina were ready to start our world tour, starting with Mexico where we are supposed to watch another tournament of my love! My King of the ring!

Mom and Dad have come to see us off at the airport.

I can’t wait to reach Mexico and meet my handsome again!

Once we are done security check in, we grab two star bucks coffee and sit at the airport lounge. There is still some time for our flight. Today being a Sunday, the rush is less, yet, the Changi Airport here in Singapore is always busy.

We will take 20 hours to travel to Mexico. I am excited for the tournament and can’t be tired of meeting VAN! Hence, we will keep our luggage in the hotel and go to the boxing match, else I would have liked a long sleep after this tedious journey.

Elina has no problem with going to the match either! Not because she is excited about VAN, but because she is my bodyguard and although she is my friend yet she is highly professional.

Apart from that, she does have a hidden interest too! I know she likes to study the different styles and moves of the fighters. She would learn one every time we come back from a match and then she will hone and refine it till perfection!

“Did you check the details of the hotel? I mean the address?” I asked Elina to make small talks and make her relax! Even in Singapore airport, she is on high alert looking all around as if I am a kid and everyone around me, are kidnappers!

“You don’t worry! Everything is set. We have a car with a chauffeur with us for two days. Then you decide where to go!

Attention Please! All the passengers traveling from Singapore Changi Airport to Mexico City International Airport via flight number……

We finish our coffee and head to our specific gate on hearing our flight announcement!  We board the flight and ours is a business class! We keep our small handbags in the overhead cabin, and I take my seat, while Elina excuses herself to the washroom.

I sit relaxed at the window and close my eyes, leaning back my head. I have an eye mask covering my eyes already! It is an early flight and a long one! Also, I feel sleepy since I couldn’t sleep last night, due to the excitement. Another reason was that, even after traveling umpteen times by flight, I still feel nervous when the flights takes off or lands.

I almost immediately drift off to sleep but after only a few minutes may be, I feel some shuffling around me. Someone patted my shoulder and then squeezed my little palm softly, and a voice came from very far away…..a faint voice….I couldn’t comprehend, since I was sleepy!

“Excuse me Miss! Can you please go back to ….” I hear a voice, almost in my dreams and then I hear Elina, “Oh! I am sorry, she must have not noticed!”

“Kiara! Kiara? Please get up!” I could hear Elina’s voice and I try to open my eyes and I did open slightly, but didn’t realise whether it is reality or dream, because her face was like VAN, my VAN! She looked funny and hence I smiled and drifted back to sleep again.

I was deep asleep dreaming about Van when I felt my body levitating in the air, weightless and felt a warm body near me. I snuggled a little and flicker my eyes…I saw his cold eyes staring back at me and I murmured in my sleep…OH VAN! MY VAN!

And before closing my eyes again, I saw an amused smirk on his face! He is so..so…handsome!

In a few seconds, my body descended on something soft and I snuggled back to darkness…with Elina’s voice blabbering from far… “I am so sorry! She has been working hard and slept off! Thank you!”

I don’t know how long I slept but I stretched my arms and yawned slightly, as I woke up to the smell of coffee! Yes, a cup of hot coffee is something I need now.

Immediately a cup was in front of me. Elina smiled brightly and raised her eyebrows mysteriously at me!

“Finally, sleeping beauty wakes up! Here drink your coffee!” Elina giggles and I take the coffee thanking her.

I sip my coffee, looking out of the window. Everywhere around I could see only clouds! White soft cotton balls floating all around!

I smile broadly feeling refreshed after a very long sleep and then sipping my hot coffee. But wait! How is the window to my right? It was to my left when I sat at first! Or is it a mistake? No! I am pretty sure that the window was to my left!

“Elina!” I turned to my left to find her typing something on her phone.

“Hmmm?” She lifts her head and looks at me.

“I was not seated here at first. Was I?” I asked her giving a confused look.

I was more and more confused, seeing her laugh softly but mysteriously at me.

“Why are you laughing? What is it?” I now turned my body towards her.

“You don’t know? My God! Kiara! Your sleep is so deep!” she chuckled even more and I pouted crossing my arms on my chest and turned my face away!

“You won’t believe what happened, even if I tell you!” I could hear Elina saying but I still wanted her to know that I am annoyed and hence I kept my face away and looked out of the window.

“Look at the person sitting on the other side of the aisle!” Elina said again and pushed me with her elbow, but I was not at all interested to look or know about other passengers!

“Oh Come on Kiara! Just take a look! Trust me you won’t regret!” She insisted again and I slowly turned my head and first glared at her, warning her that, this better be something really important!

And then I slightly bent sideways to my right, to see the person sitting at the seat where I was sitting.

There was a girl sitting on the window seat and the aisle seat was vacant! What the f**k is this!

I turned my gaze at Elina and narrowed my eyes at her, “What is it Elina? I don’t find anything either interesting or funny!”

“What!” Elina’s eyes almost popped out and she turned to her left in light speed and then at her back, searching for someone!

I am left perplexed completely! What is going on?

“What is it Elina? Who are you searching for? Don’t tell me it is Charles!” I snorted.

Elina instantly turned towards me and whispered leaning her face forward, at me, “Noooo! It is your sweetheart! VAN!” she rolled her eyes and smiled.

“What!!” I didn’t believe her. She knows that I am a die heart fan of VAN and pulling my legs, is Elina’s favourite sport apart from kicking some bad asses from time to time!

She saw the look on my face and understood that I didn’t believe her! What she said next, blew the air out of my lungs!

“You yourself said that you sat on another seat. Didn’t you? Come on! How do you think, you landed here? It was VAN’s seat and you were sleeping so deeply that he had to carry you in his arms like a baby!” Elina said and then looking casually around, she mumbled, “I don’t know where did he go…may be to the washroom!”

My jaws dropped and I looked down at my body and my arms! Oh yes! I did feel the warmth and saw VAN’s face in my dream! So, that was not a dream! It was real? Oh My God!

And as if that was not a shock enough that I turned my gaze to the front, only to meet his eyes! s**t! I jumped up on reflex, “VAN!” and hit my head on the overhead panel.

“Ahhhh!” Elina immediately pulled me down and made me sit. I kept rubbing my head and staring like an owl at his tall figure! I almost forgot to breath!

“Kiara! Shhh…You are the CFO of Wilson & Co….! For God’s sake, don’t behave like a kid!” Elina reminded me but I don’t care and I won’t ever learn to behave when it came to VAN!

I held Elina’s both arms tightly and squealed but very softly, trying to supress my voice, “Elina! HE TOUCHED ME! VAN TOUCHED ME! OH MY GOD!”
