NARRATOR Rock wasn't in the mood to laugh and be merry like the others. Everything sounded like noise to his ear, so he'd decided to take a stroll. He walked straight to the spot he loved most in this resort. It was a spectacular spot facing the lake. Sitting on a bench with his back leaned against it, one hand propped on the backrest, he crossed his legs, sipping the beer he'd taken with him as he thought about his life with his gaze focused on nothingness.
