Scampering away from the site where the car had stopped, I was advancing forward in the hopes of returning to the highway, where I believed I would be offered help in case I managed to grasp the attention of a vehicle passing me by. Even when the scheme seemed flawless when it was contrived at first, it failed to produce any fruitful results upon execution. It alone took me two-quarters of an hour to get to the highway, which should’ve been the end to my troubles, but it wasn’t.
