Andrea looked back and forth between Cindy and Raven. The older woman arched a brow at her but pinched her lips together and then jerked her head slightly toward Cindy. Andrea stared at the girl again, unsure what Raven wanted her to do.
She was struggling to control her breathing and remain as calm as possible after Cindy had bluntly called her out on her lie. So trying to decipher silent gestures wasn’t easy. Still, she figured the woman wanted her to respond to Cindy’s allegation. There was only one thing she could say.
