Kirby's PoV
"Will you stay?"
I cleared my throat. A mixture of a proud moment and a sad feeling I felt after hearing the good news from Callie.
She smiled. "Of course, I will. Where do you think I would go?"
I heaved a sigh to my relief. I'm glad that she will stay.
"I will stay until Uncle Johnny and Aunt Cora say so. If they want me to leave, then I will--"
"Oh, stop it, Cal," I interrupted. I don't want to hear anything sad from her anymore.
"Let's go to a fancy resto. So, who's gonna pay?" asked Lia excitedly.
Callie was about to answer but I butted in. "I will. So, hurry up, and fix yourselves. Let's surprise Mom and Dad."
