"Don't make me feel jealous, if you do, I'll pop your cherry,” I whispered in her ear to warn her. Then I hugged her tightly. I know she got my message clearly.
That was maybe the dumbest thing I have ever said my entire life.
“Kirby!” Callie shouted and pushed me away. “CCTVs are scattered around the premises.”
“So what? Then let the whole world know,” I said, then let go of her.
“Kirby! Don't say that. After all, you've been through all the hardships and heartaches —”
“I'm willing to give it up. If I have to choose between you and my career,” I quickly said.
“No! It's not just a career. It's your dream, Kirby. It's our dream.“
Our dream.
That somehow hit me in the face, my heart, and my soul. This is the thing that Callie and I share - our dream.
