Chapter 6 Tony typed ‘The End’ with a flourish. A good night’s sleep, plus a hearty breakfast, seemed to have pushed his mind into high-gear and so he’d been able to figure out what needed to be done to bring his story to a fitting conclusion. He saved the file and sent it to his cloud program. He’d wait a few days before rereading it to see what had to be changed, expanded, or to be cut because it wasn’t needed. Then he’d send it off to his personal editor to let her do what she did best—making it the story they both wanted it to be—before submitting it to his publisher. With nothing pressing on his agenda, Tony checked his email, replied or deleted—depending on what it was—then shut off his computer.
