I made my way up the steps and ran into someone. I should really look where I'm going because I run into people way too much.
"Hello darling." An English accent said.
I looked up to see a beautiful woman staring at me.
"Could you point me to Cain's room?"
"Um...who are you?" She was obviously a vampire.
"I am Valerie, and you are?"
"Lana...you are Cain's maker?"
"Yes."
"How did you get in here?"
"I have my ways." She smiled.
I walked with her to Cain's room. The silence from her was strangely comforting.
"Here you are."
"Do you mind letting me in? He will be angry if it is me who wakes him." She had a soft smile. She was simply breath-taking. Her hair was a light brown-dark blonde. It trailed down her back with soft curls. Her eyes were a deep, beautiful brown.
