I wake up to the sun rays in my face. I squint my eyes to adjust to the light.
Rubbing my eyes, I look to my left and see Emad snoring in his sleep.
I barely slept last night because I was afraid Emad would do something. If there's something I've learnt in my life it's that no one can ever be trusted.
Be they man or woman. They're all the same.
I don't know why but I've woken up with such a sad mood. It's not even a minute after my eyes start pouring tears.
It's not one of those silent tears, it's like a whole puddle of water has been unleashed from a dam.
I bite down on my bottom lip to stifle the sound coming from the bottom of my throat. And a few moments later, my throat feels raw and my body temperature has increased.
