It had been twenty-four hours since Piper had gone missing. Quentin Segar was out of reach since he was at some conference on technology as the keynote speaker. Chris had yet to return from his trip to go search for her either. When I could, I went out there myself. It was times like these where being a vigilante didn’t help. If it weren’t for the EVO connection, I would have contacted the police. I could have had some help from professionals finding her. As it were, I couldn’t risk getting the police involved.
