In the office is the Alpha, as well as his Gamma and Beta. I expect Alpha Nate to be furious with me but his reaction is calmer than I expected and instead, he looks so carefree. Gamma Tierri, on the other hand, is staring at me with a more intense glare, clearly not happy to see me while Beta Eric has the same calm expression as Alpha Nate.
"I- I'm sorry Alpha, I d-didn't mean to eavesdrop..." I begin apologising, my voice barely audibly as I feel myself become overwhelmed with fear. Even though they assured me that I have nothing to be afraid of, I can't help it. They are the highest-ranked members of the most feared Pack in the South...
