“Can you play Gabby’s song again mommy?” Ivy asked as I tucked her in bed. Finn was grabbing her blanket she left on the floor and handed it to me, “Da-Finn…do you know Gabby’s song?” I closed my eyes trying to calm myself at the fact that she almost called him daddy again. I know she’s missing that male figure, that bond, and Aiden is great when it comes to being that person in her life but it just isn’t the same. A part of me wish things were different between Caleb and I so Ivy could actually know who her father is and have him be a part of her life, but the other part is selfish for the way things ended because if it didn’t happen, who knows if I would have met Finn.
