Chapter 3 When Crevyn next opened his eyes, it was morning. Peering cautiously around, Crevyn listened for any sounds that would indicate Garvit was nearby. But there was nothing save the musical sound of the gentle waterfall, the trill of birds, and the drone of insects flying by. With a stretch, Crevyn sat up. Finishing the last of his bread and cheese, he stowed away his blanket in his pack and set out to return to the college. He strolled along the tree-lined avenue back to the fairy ring.
