The next month sped by faster than Crevyn could believe. On his arrival at Kano’s home, Kano had introduced Crevyn to his staff as both his apprentice and, more importantly, his mate. Each week Crevyn had gone back to the college, where he visited all the animals and spent some time with his friends.
From that first day, Crevyn had also shared a large, comfortable bed with Kano. Crevyn did have a room to call his own, but he rarely spent time in there. Instead he spent his days in study, the evenings relaxing, and the nights wrapped securely in Kano’s loving embrace.
