On the bed, I was sulking, but most of all, scared. Alessandro was mad. Really mad. The hard expression on his face when he heard what happened at the cemetery had almost made me shudder if I hadn't been terror-stricken already. I could still feel how his arms around me tightened the moment he pulled me against his chest, his muscles tensed, making me feel how angry he was. And I knew that the anger he showed had masked the true emotions he felt because of the situation. He was worried. Uptight. Things being what they were, I was waiting for him in his room.
