Chapter 47; They were never going to work
Alyssa was severely depressed learning the truth about her father’s death, she wanted to sink into her bed, just not do anything. She knew that she couldn’t continue to do so, but one can at least try. But then she was reminded of a memory, she cherished the most with her dad.

She walked to the garage to find him working with case files all over the table in the garage.
“Dad” she called out.
He directed his attention to her, “Hey baby, you got home safe?”
“Yeah, dad” she replied.
