“You finally decided to stop playing nurse?” Priscilla drawled as Jocelyn walked over out of the burning sun and into the shade of the barn door, where her mother was standing with both her sisters. She couldn’t see the boys, but from the giggles renting the air, she knew they were inside. Probably doing something they shouldn’t. From the look of things, it seemed Diane and Daphne had just finished ploughing the wheat field in readiness for planting. After the fire the other night, there wasn’t much else they could do but restart and hope this time around no one messed with their crop.
