Gabriel staggered to a halt with an angry growl vibrating in his throat. He went to pull his arm free, not caring who had grabbed him and very much still intent on reaching Jocelyn when Diane’s sharp hiss reached his ear. “Don’t.” He paused and glared over his shoulder at the other woman. “What?” he demanded. Gabriel had no time to waste on Diane’s issues. The woman didn’t like him. She wasn’t happy he had forced his way into coming with them tonight. That was her problem, as far as he was concerned.
