Jessamine I start awake with a gasp, hands clawing at my throat for air. I flail, thrash and kick at an invisible assailant for several minutes. A sharp snarl snaps me out of my reverie and I open my eyes, panting. I see the sky first, the clouds rushing overhead to cover the moon.
