In the Abandoned Station
Valentina hadn’t realized how loud the storm was inside the airlock until she stood up on the other side of the door. She could still hear the sandy wind scouring the outer door, but it was a soft murmur that grew softer as she stepped further into the room beyond.
Hazel and Kiyoshi turned on the flashlights built into their suit gloves, but Valentina was left in the dark. She made out details of the room as the other two passed their lights over everything around them.
