LKLC05 NARRATOR King Isaac woke up in the morning. He turned his head towards the other side of the bed, only to find his white haired angel staring at him. Smiling brightly, he turned towards her and opened one of his arms for her. Unexpectedly for him, she quickly snuggled up with him. "When did you wake up, my angel? And why didn't you wake me up?" King Isaac asked her in a low tone as he pulled her to his chest. "I didn't want to disturb you." She whispered softly. Her voice aroused him. He wanted to scream in frustration but he definitely didn't want to scare her. He sat up on the bed and laid her back down on the bed. "You won't disturb me. Anyways, are you hungry?" King Isaac asked her in a gentle tone. She was about to open her mouth but her stomach growled loudly, announcing how empty it was. King Isaac chuckled as he saw her blushing. "Alright! I'll ask someone to bring you some warm soup. That's all you will be getting since you just woke up." King Isaac spoke as he crawled out of the bed. She didn't say anything. Like an obedient pet, she quickly nodded her head. Her obedience made King Isaac's c**k twitch in his pants, making it impossible for him to walk like a decent man. He went towards the door of his huge bedroom and ordered one of the guards to ask the cook to prepare some fresh and warm soup for his angel. The guard bowed his head and went away. While King Isaac walked back into the room. "The food will be here soon. I am going to take a shower." He informed her before he went to the bathroom. As he entered the bathroom, he thought of the reason why he would inform his angel where he was going. Shaking his head, he stripped and hopped into the shower. ----------------- After a while, his Angel was able to finish up the soup. He fed her with his own hands. He was afraid that she would be allergic to any of the ingredients in the soup. But to his relief, she ate more than three bowls. King Isaac stood up but his Angel grabbed his hand. The terrified look on her face was enough for him to understand that she didn't want him to leave. King Isaac sat back down beside her. He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "Don't worry. There are guards in front of my bedroom. No one would dare to get into this room without my permission. And I will be back in a while." King Isaac whispered softly. His words calmed her down a little. "You need to rest now. Druid will come and check up on you later. So get some sleep, my angel." King Isaac added further. Nodding her head obediently, she closed her eyes immediately. King Isaac smiled as he made his way towards the closet. He quickly got ready and made his way out of his bedroom. "Make sure, no one, and I repeat, no one except for me, can step inside my bedroom without my permission." King Isaac ordered the guards standing in front of his bedroom. The guards bowed their heads in respect. King Isaac made his way towards the dining hall where his family was waiting for him. Instantly, he felt a deadly glare at him. King Isaac didn't need to look around. He already knew that it must be his older brother, trying to kill King Isaac with his mere glare, if possible. Ignoring his brother's childish behaviour, King Isaac made his way towards the chair that was used by his father for about four decades. There was a spark of happiness in his heart. Knowing the fact that he was running after his father's shadow all his life, and right after the death of King Adam, King Isaac became the shadow of his father. But it definitely didn't do anything to lessen the pain in his heart for losing his father. It was boring holes in his heart. The moment his bottom touched the chair that belonged to his father for so long, Prince David's wife, Princess Belle, slammed her hands on the dining table as she rose from her chair. With an annoyed look on his face, King Isaac looked at his sister in law. Since the beginning, Princess Belle just didn't get along with King Isaac. "Princess Belle, sit back down on your chair, now. You don't want to do this." Queen Sabrina growled at her daughter in law, trying to keep her voice down. The rules her late husband set for the royal family, she promised to never break them or let anyone in the family ever break them until she would be breathing. "You want to quiet me down, mother? What about him? Who is going to ask him what he is doing?" Princess Belle yelled at her mother in law, the Queen of the Scarlet kingdom, so disrespectfully. King Isaac started feeling a wave of anger rising in his chest. Princess Belle turned her head towards King Isaac and looked straight into his eyes. "Why are you doing this to your own brother? What is your goal? Are you doing it to hurt us?" Princess Belle asked King Isaac angrily. King Isaac turned his head towards his brother who was sitting on his chair with his mouth tightly zipped. "Why are you glaring at him? Talk to me. I am the one asking you all of these questions." Princess Belle yelled at King Isaac again. The moment she touched his shoulder, that's when he lost it. He lost the control that he kept for years. "Why are you jumping so high, Princess Belle? Is it because you realise now that you might have married the wrong Lucanthus brother?" Without any hesitation, King Isaac asked her a question that no one ever dared to ask her. Prince David growled angrily as he stood up and took a step closer towards his brother while fuming in anger. Before he could get any closer, the royal guards had their swords drawn out and ready to slice Prince David's head for sure. "Isaac! That's enough!" Queen Sabrina growled at her younger son instead of controlling her older son who had lost his mind when he decided to attack the newly crowned king. Queen Sabrina tried to control the guards by signalling them to put their swords away. However, none of them even try to oblige as per Queen's orders. "Prince David, get away from King Isaac. Or I wouldn't think twice before using the sharpest blades of my sword." One of the handpicked guards for the new king, growled loudly at the Prince. Prince David turned his head towards the guard. He was about to attack the guard when Mr Robinson jumped in and pushed Prince David away from King Isaac and his guards. "This young guard has the audacity to threaten my older son. And the rest ignored my orders. Through them all to the dungeon." Queen Sabrina growled angrily. Mr Robinson turned his head towards the king who slightly shook his head. "Don't make a fuss over it, mother. No one did anything to be thrown in a dungeon, for the love of my beautiful Goddess." King Isaac calmly replied to his mother as he sat back down in his chair and began eating his breakfast. As if everything was normal. As if there were no sword drawn out on his own brother. Queen Sabrina growled in anger as she heard her younger son. She turned to Mr Robinson who was in charge of the royal guards since King Isaac took the oath. "I am the queen of the Scarlet kingdom. And I command you, Mr Robinson. Take these guards away now." Queen Sabrina growled at Mr Robinson angrily. Out of anger, King Isaac slammed the cutlery in his hands on the plate as he turned his face towards his mother, almost glaring at her. "Pardon me, my Queen. But you no longer hold the authority to command as the Queen anymore." Mr Robinson informed Queen Sabrina as politely as possible. Hearing that, queen Sabrina lost her cool. "What are you talking about?" Queen Sabrina yelled at Mr Robinson. Mr Robinson quickly bowed his head in front of the Queen. "Don't shout at him, mother. If you would have stayed until the briefing was over, you would have known. But you were too sad to stay and listen." King Isaac growled at his mother angrily. "What.. are.. you.. talking.. about??" Queen Sabrina emphasized each word as she repeated her question again. "Let me explain, my Queen. King Adam has changed some rules. And they were to be applied as the new king took oath. You are still the Queen but after our beloved king's death, you lost the authority." Mr Robinson was polite again as he explained everything to the queen. By then, Queen Sabrina almost felt the ground beneath her feet being crumbling. She was about to drop down on the ground when Princess Belle held on to Queen Sabrina. "Then why am I still the Queen if I no longer hold any authority? I refuse to believe that my late husband would do something like that to me." Queen Sabrina yelled angrily. Mr Robinson narrowed his head as he didn't feel like jumping into that argument. However, King Isaac thought differently. "It doesn't matter if you accept it or not. It's the new rules. You are part of the thorne until I get married. And until then as well, you are Queen just to manage the castle businesses." King Isaac growled back at his mother arrogantly as he wiped his lips with the napkin. Without waiting for his mother's response, he stepped out of the dining hall, along with Mr Robinson and all of his personal guards. ---------------- Misty made her way towards King Isaac's bedroom. As soon as she got closer, the guards blocked her way with the sharp speers. "What are you doing? I have my patient inside of that room. I need to check up on her. Move aside right now." Misty yelled at the guards. The guards looked at each other's faces then turned to look at Misty. "Pardon me, Alpha druid. But our King has forbidden us from allowing anyone inside the room except for him. I am sorry, but I can't let you in." One if the guards explained in a calmed tone. Misty gritted her teeth out of a her as she heard a junior guard telling her off. But that was definitely not going to stop her. "King must have forgotten to tell you about the patient inside the room. She went through a sever operation. I need to keep an eye on her vitals." Misty tried to explain the guards why she needed to go inside the room. "I am sorry, but I can't let you inside. The king's orders were clear. Not to let anyone inside except for our king." The other guards spoke firmly, holding his grounds confidently in front of the royal alpha druid. Misty almost felt her plan failing. She had waited all night to get those kind of chance. The chance that was supposed to be in her favour. "Okay! Then if anything happens to the patient inside his room, that would be on you. And if you are not aware, that woman means the world to our king." Misty had to place a rock on her chest as she mentioned about the woman who was ruining everything for Misty. The guards turned towards each other, staring at each other's faces with confused looks on their faces. Misty flipped her hair as she turned around and walked back towards the stairs. "Anything that happens, it's not on me." She added as she was about to step down. "Wait, alpha druid! Please, you can go inside." One of the guards said nervously as both new guards stepped away from the door. One of them opened the door for the king's bedroom to let Misty inside. A winning grin appeared on Misty's face as she had won the argument against two amateur guards who were not aware of the politics of the royal family.
