Evan got ahold of me from behind. Normally it would be James that would interfere like this, but since he wasn’t here, Evan had to physically get me to let go of Chris, and the male hated physical contact, so I really must have been close to killing Chris, for him to think it was time to interfere. He pulled me all the way over to the corner of the room and threw me against the wall. I was ready to charge again, but he held up a hand in front of him, and with a voice that resembled the power of an alpha he yelled:
“Enough!”
I stopped immediately, finally realizing the situation. F*ck! This was why I needed her gone! But it was clear if anyone tried to take her from me, I would try to kill them. I wasn’t even sure now, if one of the females in the house
