Madeleine had outdone herself. She wore a stunning long golden dress and heels. The dress didn’t reveal much, but it didn’t need to. Her undeniable beauty turned heads all on its own. It only intensified when she smiled, which she was doing now as I walked over to her.
“How did I do?” she asked, spinning around as she approached.
“I’m very impressed,” I replied.
