“F*ck, for a minute there, I thought I might lose you,” Garrett said as we returned to his room.
His hands and mouth were all over me, clearly craving more after last night. I adored the intensity of his touch and eagerly responded. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a long, deep kiss.
“I still have a lot of questions and things to figure out, like work. I didn’t call in sick or anything,” I admitted, breaking the kiss.
“I’ve got your phone here,” he said with a sideways nod.
I glanced to my left and spotted a black bag on the floor that looked familiar.
“Wait, is that mine?” I questioned.
He nodded and smiled. “I went back to your house, cleaned up, and brought a few things I thought you might need.”
