Invitation from Royalty
I call myself Dr. Lora Sebastian. I am 30 years old already but still the teenage kind of immature.
To say I am a Neurosurgeon, but only I know that I am all about making money through my profession and doesn't consider the emotions as an effective factor. Offcourse according to me it's just hormonal balances and imbalances going on into your brain.
That's what I used to believe till the day an invitation landed on my not so clean desk in my office.
Invitation from Royalty. May be the most emotionless people can a country have, I thought at that time.
Why not? They are the people's oppressor. Enjoying luxurious life on people's money, in return the common people just get pretentious ceremonies, pretentious bills, only real thing is that they do get world tour for themselves and making money in the name of helping people.
But who am I to say things against them. So I just decided whatever it is, they are Richie Rich, they have respect, and they have special so called invitations so that they can make highly qualified people work under their armpits very politely. In return giving whatever money or title that person wants. It isn't that bad to have title which makes you little part of royalty, isn't it?
But the question is why my not so clean office desk is blessed with the not so common invitation?
I took my seat and grabbed the invitation envelope. For a once I got scared as I felt how fragile it was under my hold but I recovered somehow.
I saw my name return on it with golden ink in fluid cursive. Not forgetting to mention that the envelope is royal blue colour, the royal symbol at upper left side of it in golden colour offcourse.
as I opened it I found a well written letter, which started using honorific and certain heavy words that I wouldn't like to mention because I am literally bad with heavy words. Why you should use words like rendezvous if you can use simple words like meeting, am I right or not?
I think I am wrong. I don't know.
So, in short, the invitation letter says that I have been called to palace to discuss something about some situation and they will wait for me as it is the matter of very great importance they want to discuss.
That's totally weird, isn't it? What can be ver important in it unless someone is sick and you are inviting a doctor. Why can't they be just direct, looks like they have lots of time to jumble letters here and there in the era of wireless communication.
Okay, may be it is the way which suits them. Continuing more than three hundred years old royalty isn't a joke, they should maintain there conventional or traditional things.
So yes, I got invited, I will be going there for this small rendezvous and hope to get something fruitful of it.
Better they have something interesting and money making task for me.
