Daniel drove towards the parking gate in his grey Acura TLX. After using his keycard, the red and white-striped parking arm raised, allowing him to exit the parking lot. Turning left onto the street adjacent to the building housing the law firm, Daniel should have then made a right turn to the freeway leading away from uptown Phoenix towards his home in Gilbert. Instead, he made a left turn onto Central Avenue driving towards Camelback Road.
After a few minutes, he turned right into a shopping area where the Oasis restaurant was located. Exiting his Acura, he walked soberly towards the entrance.
“Good evening,” the hostess playfully remarked. “How many are in your party?”
“Just me,” Daniel explained.
