He’s now on the line,” James Goodwin’s associate attorney, Brett Bauer, explained as he covered the speaker on his phone while trying to grab the other attorneys’ attention. “Yes, your honor. I apologize. I understand it’s only 4 a.m. in Tucson, but the discovery dispute we have needs to be resolved so we can proceed with Dr. Shirvani’s deposition today and the other depositions this week in London, your honor.”
