Miss Amanda didn't know when Jaxon ran out of her apartment, so she wondered if everything was fine with him.
"Who is at the door?" Jaxon's Mom asked.
"It is Me, Miss Amanda", She said.
"Ooh my dear Miss Amanda, please come in, hope all is well with you and your coming to my apartment. I can't remember when last you came in here", Mrs Ruth exclaimed.
Miss Amanda was surprised to find that Jaxon's Mom had returned back home, she immediately knew that was why Jaxon had to run out of her apartment.
She knew it would be very unwise to begin to ask Mrs Ruth why Jaxon had left her house in such a hurry because she wouldn't want his Mom to find out that Jaxon immediately came into her apartment after she left home.
So, Miss, Amanda had to change the subject matter of her coming to Mrs Ruth
