Miss Amanda quickly held him back and kissed him so much once more.
That confirmed it.
Jaxon knew he was in for a good time with Miss Amanda and he is somehow excited emotionally too.
He smiled sheepishly.
When he began to have a funny feeling after he turned 16 he had always imagine having this kind of time with Miss Amanda.
Now it was not a dream or a wish either, everything he had thought had just happened.
That was his thought as he left the house of Miss Amanda to quickly avoid his Mom coming to look for him.
He got to his apartment quite quick, his Mom was lying down in her bedroom.
He called out on his Mom.
Mommy!
"Yes Jaxon, are you back". She asked.
"Yes, Mom, I am back", he replied.
"Hope you cleaned her apartment so good", she inquired.
"Yes, Mom, I did my best", he answered.
"Is Miss Amanda back home, you stayed longer", she asked.
"Yes Mom I met her on my way out of her apartment, and she gave me $50", He said.
Ooh!
"That is so kind of her", Mrs Ruth praises her kind gesture.
"What a good and wonderful neighbour she is to us, what have we done to deserve all this aid she renders without season. My continues prayer for her is that, God continues to provide for her, let her pocket never go empty without money", she continued her praises and prayer for Miss Amanda.
Mrs Ruth doesn't have an idea of what had just happened, and that will be really difficult for her to ever find out.
It's all working as planned now for Miss Amanda.
Not just only for Miss Amanda, Jaxon had just got his wish too, become a reality towards Miss Amanda.
"Ok Jaxon, what can we buy to eat tonight I am already hungry", Mrs Ruth said to Jaxon her son.
"Ok Mom I will go get a loaf of bread so we can make some sandwich for dinner tonight", Jaxon replied.
Jaxon had to make that meal option to his Mom because that has been her favourite dinner meal especially when there is enough money with them.
Mrs Ruth will always prefer to have a sandwich for dinner because it enables her to feel less heavy during the night because she will have to wake up in the middle of the night and observe her religious devotions.
A typical night of Mrs Ruth religious devotion involves her rolling from one end of her room to another muttering religious word with zeal.
All in the quest to commit her family to God, that they succeed in their endeavours and not fall into temptation that can eliminate their life.
That is the major focus of all her routine night prayers.
Jaxon goes out to get her most preferred meal for dinner from a food mart within the environment.
When he got to the intended food mart, he noticed the sign on the doorpost.
It read WE ARE CLOSED.
Ooh! He felt disappointed, so he quickly decides to check another food mart.
WE ARE CLOSED, that was what he saw at the entry signpost.
Jaxon made no delay to reach out to another food mart.
When he got to the third food mart, he noticed that they were about to close, so he rushed in and asked the cashier to give him a loaf of bread, egg and boneless chicken sauce.
The cashier quickly sold it to him, he paid and began to rushed back home.
When Jaxon got home, he noticed the door was locked from inside, so he used his own key to open the door.
He went to the kitchen to dropped all he had bought.
He couldn't hear any sound in the room, but he was sure he left his Mom inside the house before leaving to buy some food.
So he decided to check up his Mom in her room.
He was very sorry of himself at the situation he saw his Mom.
His Mom was deeply at sleep, this is one of the aspects of his Mom he doesn't like to face.
In as much as they don't have food to it at all times, Mrs Ruth doesn't like to sleep on an empty stomach especially when there is money or there is food available to eat.
Jaxon knew he wouldn't find it funny in the morning if his Mom doesn't eat this very meal before dawn.
She unconsciously slept off as she waited for Jaxon to return home earlier but he had delayed.
When she begins to nag at Jaxon, Mrs Ruth doesn't give Jaxon any room to explain what the reason was.
Jaxon knew very well about his Mom's attitude. He knew it is an awful thing to fall into her hooks.
Waking his Mom to come and prepare the meal at the time of the night is suicidal for him.
Jaxon knew just that, however, he knew he was not the cause of the delay.
Jaxon decided to leave his Mom alone to continue her sleep but he knew the consequence of that already.
He went into the kitchen, put on the gas cooker and began to prepare the meal by himself for himself and his Mom.
He never had an idea on how to prepare a sandwich, not even the way his Mom would love it to be prepared.
He had to take the risk or let's say a try in preparing the sandwich.
Jaxon eventually finished preparing the meal very late at night.
He was so tired and couldn't even eat anymore.
Alteast he had enough meal today and later some chocolate from Miss Amanda refrigerator.
So he went into his room, laid on his bed and was about to dose off.
When he heard his Mom, yawning loudly, he quickly ran towards her room to peep at her.
The was the disturbing thought Jaxon heard after as he looks steadily at his Mom yawning.
"Could my Mom eventually wake up now"? He thought nervously
