Chapter 4 — Another request
Keira
The next morning, I hoped inside my car and drove towards the Sensation Mall. I met Amanda and shared a hug with her as we both needed it now. The day went by quickly and happily.
There were three other mangers on my stand who were having a meeting while Amanda and I were dealing with potential clients. I really tried hard to get Amanda a client who would be interested in buying but it didn't work out. We collected many leads but none of them were really interested in buying. Most of them either wanted me or Amanda to call them back.
I was leaning on my stand and going through my phone while Amanda was on break. She was going to return anytime soon and I had no intention of indulging with the men behind me who were discussing about properties and other stand all across Denver.
I was more than grateful to get my job back and I didn't want anything else now.
"Mr. Russell," A man behind me called out. I quickly slapped my phone on the stand and turned around to see Mr. Russell standing a distance far from me.
"What a great surprise!" Another one of the men said as he got up and shook his hands with Mr. Russell. Why was he here? Only sales managers came here to check on us and see whether everything was right. I couldn't understand Mr. Russell's sudden appearance with his assistant—that too at my stand.
"Anything you'd like to have?" One of managers asked. I gulped and stood straight, hoping he wouldn't find out that I was using my phone while working. We weren't allowed to use phones or stand uselessly on our shifts.
"No, I just came to see. You can continue," Mr. Russell said as he approached me. He didn't stop in front of me instead he went behind me and picked up my phone.
"Using your phone while working, Ms. Keira? I believe you must have been informed about the strict rules." Mr. Russell stated.
"I'm so sorry, I just got an important message so I was checking that." I quickly replied back. It was a lie. I didn't get any important message, I was going through memes in i********: and trying to waste my time.
I mentally cursed when Mr. Russell switched on my phone and saw what I had been seeing a few moments earlier.
"Important, I assume." He said before giving back my phone. I switched it off and placed it back in my phone.
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again." I repeated.
"Be careful, Ms. Keira, don't make me regret my decision. Where is your other worker? Doesn't every stand has two?" He asked as he looked around.
By other worker, he meant by Amanda.
"No, I won't. And Amanda is taking a break, she'll be back anytime soon." I said.
Mr. Russell simply nodded his head and walked away. Just as he disappeared, Amanda popped up from the corner.
"Was that Mr. Russell? Sebastian Russell?" Amanda asked as she jumped on my shoulders. She had been watching me but she didn't want to come forward.
"Yes, that was him. How long have you been hiding?" I asked as I turned around.
"Just a few moments. He's so beautiful. And he didn't say anything about using your phone. If Mr. Gabriel saw us, he wouldn't take a second to get us fired!" She exclaimed and I agreed. Gabriel was a tough man, arrogant and full off himself—even at such an old age.
"Yup!"
"But Mr. Russell, oh, god, he's so beautiful. Why can't you speak to him about me? You clearly have him under your influence. Have you seen the way he spoke to you, with such elegance and respect." Amanda trailed off.
"No, no, no! He's just nice, that doesn't means he's under my influence. He probably respects everyone else too and about that, you should go probably speak to him about Gabriel getting you fired. I'm sure he would help you!" I recommend.
"Like I will be able to meet Mr. Russell," She rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips. "If I want to meet the CEO of Russell properties then I'll have to go through a billion people but you have already met him, I'm sure you can meet him again and speak to him on behalf of me." She added with a grin.
I thought about it for a moment. It wouldn't hurt but I wasn't sure that Mr. Russell would listen to me. I wanted Amanda to stay, she was the only hope I had in this stand. I didn't want another blonde chick who will be eating my head all day long. Amanda and I really worked out while we were together and I wasn't ready to let her go.
"Fine, I'll see what I can do but don't get your hopes high, I have met this man once only. I'm not even sure whether he's all that nice or it's just a mere act." I stated before turning around and going through my phone again.
"Yay! Thank you,"
My phone suddenly began to ring. It was Gabriel. What did he want from me now? In the middle of my working hours. I picked up the call after sharing a confusing look with Amanda.
"Change of clothes. Short skirts aren't allowed, pants or long skirts only." Gabriel quickly said.
"What?!" I exclaimed.
"Yes, tell Ms. Amanda too."
Gabriel then cut off the call before I could even question him. I furrowed my eyebrows together and glared at my phone. What was that?
"What did he say?" Amanda asked.
"He told me that short skirts aren't allowed but I'm wearing a long skirt. It reaches up to my thigh," I said as I looked down. Maybe it was a bit short but it wasn't too short.
"I guess he's right, you wear too short skirts and when you bend anywhere, everyone can see your panties!" Amanda exclaimed. She was wearing a long one but mine wasn't too short either.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?!" I asked as stood straight and moved my hand to my ass. Oh god. How many men have seen me? This was terribly embarrassing.
"I thought you'd know,"
"I do not like to flaunt my ass purposely!" I exclaimed with anger before walking away to get myself a new pair of skirts that were long enough to cover my ass at least.

Once I reached home, I called up Mr. Russell's assistant so she could arrange a meeting with him and me. It didn't feel right but I wanted to do it.
"Hey," I said.
"Hello, Yes? Who is this?" The woman named Nina asked. I remember her telling her name earlier, when she called before.
"This is Keira. Um, I just wanted to ask you whether I could meet Mr. Russell tomorrow morning?"
"I'll have to check on that. What time?" She asked.
"Around 11 maybe, if it's okay." I added. It felt like I was doing favors for Amanda but I had no other option. She was a nice women, she worked with me well and I couldn't watch her leave.
"I'll have to ask Mr. Russell. Can you wait for a couple minutes? I'll get back to you," Nina said.
"Sure, I can."
I closed the call after that and changed into my night clothes. Molly was back from her work as well and we began to binge watch some boring series that she was addicted with. I waited and waited for the call but it didn't come until 10 PM.
At exactly 10, Nina called me back.
"Hello, Ms. Keira, I have confirmed with Mr. Russell. You can come tomorrow morning to his office at 10 AM. Is that possible? Mr. Russell will be busy at 11 so I wasn't able to arrange that." Nina explained.
"Of course, no problem, I'll come." I said.
10 AM in the morning wasn't difficult at all except for that I had to wake up early. My shift wasn't going to start till 1.
The next morning, I woke up early, way early. Molly was surprised when she found me awake.
"Wow! Rise and shine, Keira! Don't tell me you're developing a habit of waking up early because I clearly know that you love sleep." Molly taunted.
I dragged my dead body to the kitchen and made myself a cup of coffee.
"No, I'm not making a habit." I rolled my eyes and said. "I just have a meeting with Mr. Russell."
"Oh!" She exclaimed. "Wow! That's something unusual to hear from Keira."
"Yes, I am going to persuade him to allow Amanda to stay at work because Gabriel is going to fire her this weekend and I don't want that to happen." I said as I mixed my coffee. My eyes were dead and I was barely able to keep them open for another second.
Sacrifices.
"Is that all?" Molly asked.
"Yes, that's all. Whatever you are thinking, stop because none of that's going to happen." I stated clearly.
"I'm not thinking anything," she shrugged and gave me a wicked smile.
"Whatever,"
I walked back to my room and sipped on my coffee silently while looking outside. Denver was beautiful and ever since I came here, it felt amazing. It felt like I had been living here forever. The music, the culture, the buildings, everything was fantastic. Half of business area of Denver was held as Russell properties and I was going to meet the CEO of it today.
As I returned back into my senses and finished my coffee, I got up and showered. I wore a long skirt and then headed out to see Mr. Russell.
The traffic early in the morning wasn't too much. The roads weren't too crowded, not even in the rotten area of Denver. There was a thick mist surrounded all around and I could barely see anything but the coffee helped me.
I reached Russell Properties soon and I went inside, still feeling sleepy and skimpy.
"Hey, I'm here to see Mr. Russell." I said to the woman on the receptionist desk. She motioned me to go inside.
"Thanks," I mumbled before heading towards the office. The building was quiet empty, people were there but there was no chaos or chatter.
Okay, Keira, here we go.
I straightened myself before going inside his office. The last time I was here, it wasn't too good. I expected this time to be different but it wasn't. My luck wasn't supporting me and I was shaking terribly. When I saw Mr. Russell, I got more anxious.
"Ms. Keira, please come in." Mr. Russell said as he closed the book he was reading. He was leaning on the top of his desk and he didn't move when I came and sat in front of him.
"I see you have a change in skirts, that's good." He said with a smile.
I was confused. "What? You told Mr. Gabriel to tell me to wear longer skirts?"
"Indeed I did. Your clothes were to provocative and I don't like when hungry men see one of my employees with lust in their eyes—it's just not professional and not my kind of thing." Mr. Russell replied. Not even a muscle in his face moved when he said that all.
I swallowed hard and rubbed my hands over my skirt. At least I was wearing something long now.
"Oh," I whispered as I narrowed down my eyes.
"So, what brings you here?" He asked.
To the point, Keira. I thought to myself as I looked up into his dark, misty eyes.
"I—um, I wanted to ask you something....I mean a favor." I stuttered.
"Sure,"
"My co-worker, Amanda, is going to get fired because she didn't complete her sales target in the past six months. Since you did it before, you can convince Mr. Gabriel to allow her to continue her work." I said, unable to form any proper sentences. I had no idea what was coming out of my mouth. Probably just blabber.
Mr. Russell had a surprise look on his face—like he wasn't expecting this kind of favor. What else did he expect?
"I don't need to 'convince' anyone," He said with a laugh. "I look for passion in my employees and I advise them to look for it as well when they are hiring people which is why a target is placed for every single one of my employees. If they don't find passion and desire in what they are doing, then there is no purpose of them to serve their jobs."
"Amanda is really passionat—"
Mr. Russell got off the table and approached me like a predator reaching towards his prey. "Ms. Keira, I'm clearly aware of how passionate your friend or co-worker is. There are rules and targets that need to be followed, if they are broken or incomplete then I'm afraid, there is nothing I can do about it." He continued in a husky tone.
"But you can...." I trailed off. He could right? He was the owner of this all.
I took deep breaths in as he got closer and closer. The anxiety rose, the pit of my stomach grumbled—not out of hunger.
"Of course, I can. I can do a lot of things, Ms. Keira." He said.
I held my skirt tightly and wrapped it around my quivering fingers. This wasn't going the way it was supposed too.
"Aman—"
Before I could complete, he kissed me.
Mr. Russell kissed me.
He grabbed my face aggressively and slid his tongue before I could even take this all. He was able to get me off the couch and slam me to the wall in a matter of a few minutes. I was so indulged in the kiss that I could barely think about anything else.
Suddenly, he pulled away. I took heavy breaths and filled up my lung.
"No hands," He stated before grabbing both of my wrists and shoving them away. Before I could even look up, he slammed his lips on me again—startling me a little bit.
He didn't want me to touch him while he could touch me? Where was the fun in that?
Mr. Russell tightened his grip on my black hair and pressed his hips towards me. I felt a bulge growing around my stomach. An unusual urge grew inside me, and it kept on growing for as long as he kissed me. It felt like I was drowning myself inside him, I was loosing my breath, my senses, my sanity in matter of a few minutes.
Once I had gotten a taste of it all, I couldn't forget it. It was devouring, better than every sweet in this entire world. As the intensity of the kiss grew, my hands urged to touch him and feel him but he didn't allow me.
When he pulled away, he pressed his head against mine and looked into my eyes deeply. He released my wrists but not my hair, it was still under his grip.
I felt my n*****s rise as his hand swarmed underneath my skirt and closer to my s*x. My thighs parted themselves as his finger slipped inside my panties which were wet. I don't know what frightened me more, how cold his rough fingers were or how warm I was feeling from the inside. He stroked me for a moment and watched me struggle. His eyes were studying me. They were testing me. He wanted a reaction out of me and I had no idea what he was expecting.
I moaned on his lips. I wanted him to sexually please me or whatever it was—deflower me. He rubbed his fingers around my p***y very so gently. I wanted more and I was clearly aware that he wasn't gentle—especially after the aggressive kiss.
I grabbed his hand and pressed it harder towards my clenching core. He stopped and suddenly moved away, leaving me in a complete miserable state.
No.
I was going to approach him but a knock came on the door.
"Come in," Mr. Russell said before I could even fix myself.
Nina walked inside. "Mr. Russell, you have a meeting to attend in two minutes." She said without even batting an eye at me.
I was startled, more like shattered when Mr. Russell nodded his head and reached towards the door to leave.
"Oh, please show Ms. Keira the way out." He said before leaving the room.
He had an unfinished business with me and I didn't expect him suddenly to leave. There was something I did that he didn't like and I kept wondering about it the whole time.
What went wrong?
