  Dana   "No," I reply softly, my voice trembling with the weight of my doubts. "But I just can't shake the feeling that I'm merely striving to attain power, and I fear I might tarnish your legacy. I worry that our child-" I halt midsentence, inadvertently letting slip the word "child."   Her eyes widen, and for a moment, I think I've escaped her notice, but her reaction tells me otherwise. She gulps, her expression betraying a mixture of surprise and confusion, as if she hadn't anticipated my revelation. Uncertainty dances across her features, mirroring the turmoil within me.   "Did you just mention a baby with him?" she asks, her touch gentle as she grasps my hand, her eyes searching mine for confirmation.   "Anna-" I begin, but she interrupts me before I can finish my sentence.   "
