I watch Starr standing on the balcony outside our room. She ran up here as soon as we got back. I didn’t follow her because Thane asked me to see the doctor with him. Glenn, the doctor, performed many tests on Alexis that took just an hour. Glenn found the cause of Alexis’ death quite quickly.
Glenn read from his report, telling Thane and me how Alexis had enough wolfsbane in his system to take down two Royal Warriors. She also had traces of silver in her bloodstream and more injuries than Glenn could count. What actually killed Alexis was heart failure due to all of these factors. With all the injuries, the wolfsbane, silver, and the fact Alexis hadn’t had her first shift yet, she stood no chance of survival.
