Chapter 6She had everything ready by the time the door opened again. “This is what I’m going to need,” she said, handing over her list. “My first exam will be pretty basic for now, but with those, I’ll be able to get some more minute readings. They’ll especially help after I’ve had the chance to examine Danny.” She glanced between Dec and Katie, but their faces were inscrutable. “Am I right in assuming you’re almost out of sedatives for him? That’s what that girl meant last night, right?”
Dec nodded. “I’ll have to get some more. At least we won’t need it tonight. He should still be sluggish from last night’s dosage.”
Maya did the calculation in her head, and then frowned. “What are you giving him?”
