932 Words
The huge room suddenly became very quiet. It was so quiet that Mia could hear the sound of Jason flicking soot, and dots of spark fell from his fingertips. Mia seldom saw Jason smoke, or to be more precise, Jason seldom smoked in front of her because she was not in good health. Mia's heart suddenly became uneasy. She was very happy today because she accidentally saw a text message on Jason's cell phone last night. Abby wanted to divorce Jason. She knew that Jason went to see Abby this morning. Mia originally thought he couldn't wait to get a divorce, but his overcast appearance showed it was not what she thought. "Jason, time to eat." Mia cheered up and persuade herself not to be afraid. She was the one Jason had loved for so many years, and he wasn't kind of man that can be easily influenced by Nancy such a crazy woman. Jason came to his sense and pinched out the cigarette, and headed to the dining room to. In just a short time, she made three dishes and one soup. It was meaty and vegetarian, and the taste was not bad, but still inferior to Abby's cooking. Why did he think of that woman again...Jason clenched his teeth and tried to erase the image of Abby out of his mind. Mia sat opposite and eat with a small bowl. She glanced at him from time to time. She wanted to say something several times, but she nothing was uttered in the end. She was uneasy and afraid to ask something of which the result was quite different from what she wanted, she would be disappointed. Mia was a timid woman. All her ambition was spent on Jason. She wanted Jason to marry her. Today, Jason was absent-minded, and even when he was having a meal. Mia found it several times and couldn't help putting down her bowl: "Jason, how did you discuss with Abby when you met her today?" Jason was handsome, even his hands that held chopsticks were delectable, making his eating elegant. Hearing Mia's question, Jason paused slightly and said, "What do you mean?" Mia gently bit her lower lip and said, "Just about your divorce with Abby..." As soon as she finished speaking, she felt that the man's cold sight, and her body seemed to have been splashed with a bucket of cold water. Mia shuddered uncontrollably with her timid eyes. As if feeling her fear, Jason narrowed his eyes and said, "No divorce." Was Abby or Jason unwilling to divorce? Mia would rather believe the former. "Jason, you and Abby are a legal couple. I'm just a lover of you at most. I used to hate the mistress, but I didn't expect that one day I would become the person I hate the most. I think I'm so bad, I robbed someone else’s husband and wanted someone else’s blood." Jason didn't like people who complain about their self-pity, but he felt guilty for Mia. Facing her, he had a little more patience. "I signed an agreement with Abby. She provided her blood for you voluntarily. You don't have to feel sorry for her." Mia looked sad and asked: "Jason, if I'm in good health and don't need Abby's blood, will you divorce her? And does it still count that you said you would marry me?" In the face of these questions, Jason couldn't answer any of them, or he didn't know how to answer, the emotion that had just been suppressed rose again inexplicably. Mia had been with him for so many years. She could see what Jason thought in his heart. She concealed the loss in her eyes and said self comforting words. "Jason, I just don't want you to be forced to do what you don't like because of me..." Jason fiercely stood up and interrupted her: "I'll work overtime at the company, so I won't be here for a few days." "Jason..." Jason strode very fast. When Mia got up to chase him, he had left the dining room. The big noise came from the door shutting made Mia's heart tremble. For a moment, she didn't know what to do. Mia absently went to the window and looked at the figure downstairs. She kept looking until she could not see the figure but still stood in the same place. Why would one sows and another reaps? She would rather destroy it than make Abby own it . ....... The first thing that Jason did when he came back to the company was to prepare to purchase Sunny Group. Assistant Mike sent him a transfer record. He glanced at the amount, which was 3 million in total. "He signed all the papers?" "Yes." Mike said, "Last night, we got the Mr. Sunny drunk and he signed anything. After waking up, he didn't have any doubts and transfered 3 million dollars obediently." Jason sneered, the Sunny Family was a bunch of idiots except Abby. "Three days, get rid of him." Jason was concise. "Three days, Mr. Jason, I'm afraid..." Mike was in a pickle . Jason gave him a look. Mike stopped talking immediately after seeing his eyes. After the order, Jason went back to the computer desk. When he looked at the computer, he got used to wearing a pair glasses to protect his eyes. His fingers pressed the button quickly, and the light was reflecting on lens. Mike quietly left the office. When he closed the door, he took a peek at Jason. There was an idiom in his mind, gentle scum.
